WRESTLING OUTFITS

Sweet Daddy Siki’s wrestling outfits were made by his wife, Anne. These are all one of one treasures.

The above red, white and blue outfit above was purchased by Siki from the one and only “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers for, apparently, $500. We’re still hunting for a photo of Buddy Rogers wearing it.

The above long checkered robe is later career, and, as you can see, made appearances in the ring and on the stage.

MIRRORS & SUNGLASSES

Who is Sweet Daddy Siki without a mirror? There are a few “sleeves” to protect the mirrors. And these aren’t just any sunglasses … they belonged to Sweet Daddy!

WRESTLING BOOTS

As noted in the Sweet Daddy Siki documentary, his boots, with the unique cut-out at the back, were the design that “Soulman” Rocky Johnson copied, and then Johnson’s son, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson copied as well.

BELTS, TROPHIES & PLAQUES

Heavyweight Wrestling Championship of the North is not a well-known title belt, but the original stayed in Sweet Daddy Siki’s possession.

This isn’t a wrestling belt, but a bedazzled belt for Sweet Daddy Siki to wear.

MUSIC OUTFITS

While many knew Sweet Daddy Siki through his professional wrestling career, he was also an accomplished musician, releasing singles in the 1960s and three full-length albums. He toured with a band, and, when he got tired of that, hosted karaoke. The below outfits were all made by his wife, Anne, except where noted.

There’s not a lot of these, but there are some cassettes and 8-tracks of Siki releases, and some LPs.

We have quite a few 45s, and found some releases that are much less well known than the covers he did on the albums, including some originals written with his wife, A. Siki in the credits.
